The noise in the Jacksonville Jaguars organization related to Urban Meyer is not going to quiet down anytime soon.
After ESPN analysts publicly called for Meyer to be fired and Meyer issued an apology for a viral video that showed a young woman grinding on him, there are reports that things could “get ugly” between Meyer and the organization.
According to NFL insider Michael Lombardi, there are “closed-door meetings” taking place over the past two days with members of the team’s front office.
Legal expert Michael McCann of Sportico added that the Jaguars could be discussing the “morals clause” and “for clause” in an attempt to void Meyer’s contract — something Lombardi said is exactly what’s taking place.
Two employment contract terms might become tied to this development with the Jacksonville Jaguars — "morals clause" and "for cause". https://t.co/2GztYKDbj3

That's exactly what is being discussed. https://t.co/DCO8anfRo7

There appears to be frustration not only with the 0-4 start, but the distractions that are constantly coming with Meyer as the head coach.
And after No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence had the best game of his rookie season, instead of discussing the promising future of their star quarterback the team was drawn into the Meyer headlines.
It’s going to be interesting to see what happens down the road — perhaps sooner rather than later — but at least Urban Meyer could have USC to fall back on.
The Jaguars will look for their first win on Sunday, October 10, when they welcome the Tennessee Titans to EverBank Field. Tennessee will be looking to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the New York Jets. It may be Meyer’s last chance to get in the win column before the pressure to cut him loose becomes too much.
