The Cleveland Browns won the biggest game of their season this past Sunday. The team went into Baltimore and took down the Ravens, who still sit atop of the AFC North standings. However, the North has been a gauntlet this season, with each team currently holding a winning record. But yesterday, the Browns received horrendous news. Starting QB Deshaun Watson will be out for the rest of the season after reinjuring his shoulder in their big victory. A season with so much promise is now looking like a bleak affair. Except, the Browns have one Hail Mary left that they could dial-up. Call Tom Brady.

Browns fans are already having some fun with the idea. Why shouldn’t they? This team has plenty of talent in every position on the field, including a defense that is arguably the best in all of the NFL. No offense to PJ Walker or Dorian Thompson-Robinson, but it feels like this team has entered a Super Bowl window, and they may not have the talent to help this team reach the mountaintop. What’s the worst he can say, no? Brady was reluctant to leave the game in the first place, which is why the future Hall of Famer announced his departure from the game on two separate occasions. Now, he would have the opportunity to lead a franchise that has never won the big game to the promised land. This is the most straightforward task the Browns organization has ever had.
