It seems like every year we have some boneheaded spectator at the Tour de France causing some sort of chaos.
It was a few that some woman caused a massive crash when she ended up in the path of the cyclists while holding a sign up for the camera to see. There was also a fan who stepped into the path of the racers causing a brutal crash that resulted in a broken neck for the cyclist.
This year, some moron tried taking a selfie for the ‘Gram and ended up causing a giant pileup of their own.
In a video shared on social media over the weekend, a fan leans over the barrier to take a selfie and ended up causing Sepp Kuss of Team Jumbo-Visma to crash.
After Kuss crashed to the ground, a pileup ensued that impacted around 20 riders, according to BBC.

Luckily, there were no serious injuries.
But for the love of god, do we have to remind people every year that they shouldn’t interfere with the race? It seems that way.
The official Tour de France Twitter account wanted to send out a reminder, however, just in case.
