Britney Spears is really milking the Victor Wembanyama incident that occurred in Las Vegas ahead of the No. 1 pick’s NBA Summer League debut with the San Antonio Spurs.
Spears took to social media to share a video message where she rips Wembanyama’s security and demands a public apology.
“I’ve been with the most famous people in the world — *NSYNC at one time,” she said. “Girls would like literally throw themselves at them. On my way into the place, actually, I was knocked down by like three 12-year-olds trying to get my picture. My security not one time touched them or even came near them.
“Point being, I didn’t appreciate the people saying that I deserved to be hit, because no woman ever deserves to be hit.”
Spears also claimed that she fell to the ground because she was slapped so hard. Of course, the actual video of the incident shows that is not true. She did note, however, that Wembanyama did apologize to her later in the night, but she made note that it wasn’t a “public” apology.

Wembanyama discussed the incident with reporters after his Summer League debut and said he never even knew who was approaching him because he was told to continue walking and not to turn around in order to avoid creating chaos.
“I didn’t see what happened, because I was walking straight and we were told, ‘Don’t stop,'” Wembanyama told the media. “But that person grabbed me from behind — not on my shoulder, she grabbed me from behind — and so I just know the security pushed her away.
Despite Spears bringing up the issue again, the Las Vegas Police Department has said it will not be bringing charges after a brief investigation.
