Happy Friday, ladies and gentlemen. Now, I know times are a little rough for New York Jets fans who had to suffer through last night’s game and watch Zach Wilson’s inept performance — which led to him being benched for Chris Streveler — but cheer up because Christmas weekend is just hours away. On Saturday, we get a full slate of NFL games while we relax on Christmas Eve, while Sunday will bring us a Christmas Day doubleheader and a loaded NBA schedule. Oh, and there are the gifts and the feasts to look forward to. But while we wait for our celebrations, we have to make it through today. Luckily, there are two college football bowl games on for us to enjoy and take us into the night. In the meantime, let’s check out some headlines from around the web. Cheers!

In case you were wondering how bad things went for the Jets on Thursday night, any chance at a miracle comeback they had was ended by an accidental somersault kick hitting the ball out of Garrett Wilson’s hands.
