Alabama Fan Arrested For Shooting Neighbor’s Home Over Loss To Vols

An Alabama football fan took the Crimson Tide’s loss to Tennessee a little too hard.

According to a report from WAFF News, Ricky Franks Jr. was arrested after shooting up his neighbor’s home with a shotgun. The shooting took place after an argument about the Alabama game.

Franks left his neighbor’s home after the argument to retrieve his gun and went on to open fire.

He was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied building.

No one inside the home was injured.

Tennessee’s win over the Crimson Tide was an instant classic and ended 15 years of misery for the Vols faithful. After the 52-49 win, fans stormed the field and tore down the goalposts before marching through Knoxville and throwing the goalposts in the Tennessee River.

Alabama fans, meanwhile, were left to sit in their sorrows and apparently found interesting ways to deal with their anger. We’re just glad no one was harmed.
