Alabama‘s Jermaine Burton is being accused of letting his emotions get the best of him.
Following last weekend’s loss to the Tennessee Volunteers, the Crimson Tide wide receiver is accused of hitting at least two Vols fans, including a woman.
Video surfaced on social media showing the alleged incidents.
“Jermaine Burton smacking me in the head while walking past him after their loss Saturday” TikTok user Emily Isaacs captioned the video. She was not willing to discuss the incident any further.

“We are aware of the situation with Jermaine Burton as he was exiting the field Saturday,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban said in a statement. “We are currently working to gather more information.”
The University of Tennessee was fined $100,000 after the fans stormed the field and ripped down the goalposts before marching them through town and tossing them into the Tennessee River. Everyone associated with the Vols seems to believe the money was well spent.
