Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury’s name has been linked to a few head coaching vacancies in college football. His current star quarterback Kyler Murray believes the rumors are just that, rumors.
Murray was recently asked about the swirling speculation, and this is what the Arizona signal-caller had to say:
“I know Kliff. I don’t really buy into it,” Murray stated when the question was asked during his media rounds yesterday. Murray even added, “I think he’s got a pretty good job right now,”

Murray has good reason to believe that Kingsbury will stay in Arizona. Kingsbury is the head coach of the team with the best record in the NFL. Hard to see anyone living a situation that Kingsbury currently finds himself in.
Other players have chimed in on the rumors of their coach leaving to go back to the college ranks. Isaiah Simmons is one of those players who isn’t buying much stock in the rumors either.

It will be interesting to see the direction Oklahoma and Notre Dame go when finding their next head coach. It just doesn’t seem like Kliff Kingsbury will be the guy leading those programs. The college coaching carousel has been off the rails already.
