Richard Sherman is officially facing five criminal charges stemming from his arrest earlier this week.
On Friday, prosecutors laid out the five charges for the NFL free agent after he violently attempted to break into his father-in-law’s home. Among the charges Sherman is facing is DUI, and criminal trespass, according to TMZ Sports.
Sherman was originally arrested for “burglary domestic violence” after his bizarre arrest which included being taken down by a police K9.
The full list of charges includes:
- Driving While Under the Influence
- Reckless Endangerment of Roadway Workers
- Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree – domestic violence
- Resisting Arrest
- Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree – domestic violence
Prior to Sherman’s arrest, he is believed to have crashed his vehicle into a barrier in a construction zone. He then abandoned the vehicle in a nearby parking lot before making his way to his father-in-law’s home.
