We now have video from the moments leading up to the arrest of Richard Sherman.
The NFL free agent was arrested on charges of burglary domestic violence, a felony in the state of Washington, and bail was denied. In a leaked 911 call, Sherman’s wife could be heard saying the star defensive back was “drunk and belligerent” and that he was threatening to kill himself.
TMZ Sports shared a video from a door cam at the home of Raymond Moss, Sherman’s father-in-law, that shows the 33-year-old violently pounding on the door of the home and shouting at the man inside.
“Come through, bitch!” Sherman can be heard shouting. “I don’t give a f*** about what you’re saying! Open the door! That s*** cute from behind the door. Come through! That s*** real cute!”
Sherman was released on Thursday afternoon after spending nearly two days behind bars. He is due back in court on Friday.
