Our old friend & ESPN sideline reporter Sara Cardona made it Christmas tree photo on IG official on Christmas Day with Atlanta Falcons 5th round rookie tight end Eric Saubert out of Drake. As most of you know, if a woman makes it official on Christmas Day, it’s more than official — IT’S ON!
Sara, who used to be connected to Cris Collinsworth’s son, made her sideline debut back in March covering college basketball. A 2015 graduate, Cardona’s job this fall was working Middle Tennessee State games.
As I said earlier this year, ESPN needs to feel like it can have a hot sideline reporter again. Get back to the bread & butter. Get back to guys holding signs at college basketball games for the sideline reporter. It’s not harming the world. Cardona’s poised to make things better again for the college guy who never knew what it was like during the Erin Andrews years.
Everything is adding up here for Cardona to have a huge 2018. She has the rookie tight end to vacation with after the playoffs end. She has a career that’s headed for a legitimate college sideline and is up to 68k IG followers.
