We’ve officially moved on from the single angry fan who takes his frustration to Facebook and shows himself burning all of his NFL gear from whatever team he used to be a fan of. Now we’ve moved on to group demonstrations, where gaggles of fed up fans canshow solidarity by burning all of their shit in one big ass pile.
Like always, the Patriots seem to be ahead of the curve on everything. Why just burn your stuff when 100+ of us can gather in Mark’s backyard and do it together?
Here’s my favorite part:
More than 100 people turned out to support Shane and show their frustration with professional athletes who are kneeling during the national anthem. They sang America the Beautiful and said the Pledge of Allegiance as they tossed Patriots gear into the fire in protest.
2017 is wild, man.
