So BC has been very hard on Mike Evans this week for protesting Donald Trump despite the fact that he didn’t even bother to vote in the election. But we’re going to cut Mike some slack, because he is at least registered to vote… unlike fellow social justice warrior Colin Kaepernick.
Yep, The Sacramento Bee did some digging and found Kaepernick hasn’t registered to vote for any election:
Kaepernick, who was raised in Turlock, turned 18 in 2005, but he has not registered to vote in California at any point in the last decade, according to records maintained by the California Secretary of State. He also did not register in Nevada while he attended the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2006 to 2010, according to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters.
That means he missed presidential elections in 2008 and 2012 – when Democrat Barack Obama was elected president – in addition to a variety of state and local elections in other years.
Absolutely hilarious. This guy can cite oppression all he wants as to why he didn’t vote, but let’s not forget it wasn’t just about the election — there were also plenty of California props on the ballot worth a look (weed, death penalty, firearms — guess that stuff doesn’t matter). But hey, go ahead and keep up the act.
