It looks like the Atlanta Braves will have some competition in the hunt for baseball player wannabe, Tim Tebow.
Despite last week’s underwhelming — and much-hyped— “showcase,” Ken Rosenthal reports that eight teams in total are interested in Tebow’s ticket-selling abilities:
Clubs involved in process believe about eight teams are in the mix for Tebow, showing interest to varying degrees.

The one thing Tebow displayed during his workout was power, so it makes some sense that the Blue Jays had a positive scouting report:

Braves GM Coppolella recently told MLB.com that “there’s no risk” in signing Tebow:
“There’s no risk,” Coppolella said. “If it doesn’t work, we’ll be honest with Tim early, and we can move on. If it does work, it’s great for the Braves and it’s great for baseball.”
Expect to see Tebow donning a minor league uniform, folks. This is going to happen, and the spectacle should be something.
