Don’t think Tim Tebow can make it all the way to the MLB? Doubt all you want, but Tebow already has some backers in the baseball and media world.
Gary Sheffield’s rep told TMZ that Tebow has “IT” while well-respected sports personality Skip Bayless raved about his “big league left-handed power” — that’s all the evidence we need.
Tebow has big-leaguel left-handed power. Can he hit big-league pitching? Hardest thing to do in sports. Wouldn't bet against him.

But if you wanted to judge Tebow’s skills for yourself, then check out this grainy footage of the former Florida star taking cuts in a batting cage:

The Los Angeles Angels almost drafted Touchdown Tim when he was in high school, and they definitely need a left fielder now… just saying.
Here’s what former Angels scout (and current Red Sox staffer) Tom Kotchman had to say about Tebow a couple years ago (via The LA Times):
Tom Kotchman, who scouted Florida for the Angels when Tebow played high school ball, told WEEI in 2013 that the team was prepared to spend a draft pick on him.
“We wanted to draft him, but he never sent back his information card,” Kotchman said. “Who knows if it got to him, and if it did, we just never got it back. Otherwise, we were going to take him.”
