The Texas Rangers’ Double-A affiliate, the Frisco RoughRiders (you know, the team with the crazy manager), continue to do big things at the minor league level.
We told you a couple weeks ago that they’re getting fans saucy with Rougned Odor alcoholic energy drinks, and this past Friday, they took things next level by holding a home run derby featuring Jose Canseco and “local sluggers.”
According to MILB.com, Jose was in town to try to break his own record of longest softball home run (622 feet). We’re not quite sure if he broke the record, but he was confident enough to start calling his shots:
