Happy Monday, ladies and gentlemen. Who is ready for another week? It was quite the weekend with a historic UFC event and an epic final round of the John Deere Classic. There was also history made in the 2023 MLB Draft when two LSU players — Paul Skenes and Dylan Crews — went in the first two picks, making it the first time in history that two college teams went 1-2 in the draft, but there was some disappointment when the US women’s basketball team fell short to Brazil in the championship game of the FIBA AmeriCup. But you can’t win them all. The excitement continues on Monday with the Home Run Derby in primetime, and the Round of 16 at Wimbledon throughout the day. While we take in all of the action, let’s check out some of the headlines we may have missed.
- Meet Monica from Arizona.
- Here is everything coming to Netflix this week.
- UFC fighter Dan Hooker shared an x-ray which revealed he completed an epic comeback with a badly broken arm.
- Victor Wembenyama silenced the haters with a huge bounce-back game in his second Summer League appearance.
- Ex-Team USA gymnastics coach Larry Nassar stabbed multiple times in prison, in critical condition.
- Formula 1 fans were furious with Cara Delevigne’s behavior at Sunday’s British Grand Prix.
- Umpire scolds fans for champagne bottle popping in ‘most Wimbledon warning’ ever.
- Here are the first-round results from the 2023 MLB Draft.
