When nature calls, you have to take care of business. One Boston Marathon runner found that out in embarrassing fashion earlier this week and the incident was all caught on a doorbell camera.
A homeowner shared a video of the unexpected visitor with a post that caught plenty of attention on Reddit. The post was titled, “One of the marathon runners just took a s–t in my yard (video inside).” Sure enough, the description was accurate.
The Boston Marathon has plenty of portable toilets along the race course, but the runner decided just to drop his pants in the stranger’s yard.
There was “absolutely zero reason for someone to trespass to take a s–t on a lawn,” the homeowner posted.

There are few things more awkward than having to go to the bathroom at inopportune times, but having a stranger stare you down in the lawn for an awkward standoff only adds to the shame.
As the New York Post points out, the Boston Marathon urges runners to use the provided facilities.
“Please respect the communities through which the Boston Marathon runs by taking advantage of these facilities, if needed,” the marathon website states.
Apparently all of the runners didn’t get the memo.
