Kyrie Irving had a monster shooting night against the New York Knicks on Thursday, dropping 37 points in a tight 90-87 Cavaliers victory.
But it wasn’t all smiles for the Cavs guard as he expressed extreme displeasure over a timeout head coach David Blatt called with just 16.8 seconds left in the game (and nine seconds left on the shot clock).

In Irving’s defense, he appeared to be setting up to take the final shot, and if Blatt was going to call a timeout, why didn’t he take it right after Shawn Marion secured the defensive rebound? Nonetheless, Irving did end up scoring the game’s final basket out of the timeout.
He played down the incident after the game:
Blatt had another incident earlier this season when LeBron James decided he was going to do the player-coach thing:

Will Kevin Love join the party and throw some shade at Blatt this season? Stay tuned.
