Over the past 45 years, Michigan State has had a special dog named Zeke who catches frisbees during halftime at their football games. Since 1977, Zeke and his successors have been wowing crowds with their high-flying tricks.
Guess what?
Zeke the Wonder Dog IV just announced on Twitter that he will perform at halftime of the Jets vs. Patriots Thursday night game. For one night, Zeke is swapping his Spartan bandana for a Jets one, bringing his amazing talents to New Jersey.
I just left East Lansing and am heading to New York! I will be performing at Halftime for the @nyjets / @Patriots , Thursday night football game!

Zeke’s story began with the original Ezekiel, a yellow Labrador owned by Gary Eisenberg, an MSU sophomore in 1977. Noticed for their frisbee skills, they were invited to perform at a home game, starting a tradition that has lasted decades.
The current Zeke is a red English Labrador trained by Jim Foley and his wife, Terri Foley. They’ve been training three of the four Zekes for over 20 years. You can catch Zeke’s performance during the Thursday Night Football game on Amazon’s Prime Video.
The New England Patriots are set to face off against the New York Jets in this Week 3 matchup. Both teams come into the game with a 1-1 record. The Jets narrowly won their last game and now have Aaron Rodgers playing three games in just 11 days.
One thing’s for sure: if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t deliver an air show in the first half, Zeke will surely excite New York fans with his high-flying frisbee act!
