Some fans just can’t handle their alcohol, and that leads to some wild confrontations on gameday. For one Anaheim Ducks fan, it turned into a scary moment last week during a gain against the Winnipeg Jets at the Honda Center.
Video obtained by TMZ Sports surfaced that shows a crazy brawl in the concourse that resulted in one Ducks fan getting knocked out cold after being slammed to the ground.
A group of Ducks and Jets fans were scuffling when one man in a Jacob Trouba jersey broke away from the group. He ended up in a one-on-one fight with a Ducks fan and slammed him onto the concrete with a leg sweep.
Eventually, the man regained his consciousness, but he was still struggling to gather his wits and get back to his feet.
Cops responded to the scene, and one man was transported to the hospital with a head injury.
Police are now investigating the incident.
“The investigation is ongoing,” an Anaheim Police Department spokesperson said. “No arrests have been made.” The police added that they will be using “videos circulating on social media” as part of their investigation.
Can’t we all just get along?
