The Miami football program has struggled to fill the stands at Hard Rock Stadium for years, but its latest attempt to do so shows full-on desperation.
In an attempt to get fans packed into the stadium for the team’s home finale against the No. 9 Louisville Cardinals, the Hurricanes are offering a wild Buy One, Get Two Free ticket promo.
The only catch is that you must be a Coral Gables resident.
The site simply states, “Tickets are Buy One, Get Two Free with the option to buy more. Your tickets will be delivered once your Coral Gables address and ticket ratio are verified. The Hurricane Club has the right to revoke any tickets that exceed the Buy One, Get Two Free ratio.”

You have to admit, that is quite the deal.
And if you’re getting free seats to watch one of the top programs in the country that has a slim shot at reaching the College Football Playoff — sorry, Miami, that’s not you, it is an enticing offer.
Kickoff between the Hurricanes and Cardinals is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
We’ll have to see how many fans they lured out of hiding.
