Week 10 of the NFL season gave fans plenty of talking points until Thursday night.

Monday night, the Buffalo Bills had one of the most Bills endings possible in their loss to the Denver Broncos. The week also started the discussion that a rookie could potentially win MVP.

With so many storylines coming out of Week 10, finding the most significant moments was nearly an impossible task.

Here are the five biggest headlines from Week 10.

5. Here Come Those Lions

Detroit Lions fans have long waited for a team to match up the preseason hype that the 2023 edition of this franchise has.

On Sunday, the Lions went to Los Angeles and took down the Chargers in an offensive showdown 41-38. The Lions are now 7-2 on the season with a great chance of grabbing their eighth win this Sunday when they take on their divisional rival, the Chicago Bears.

However, most Lions fans will tell you, that they’re not counting their chickens before they hatch. The fanbase is taking this one week at a time.

But it’s okay to celebrate a victory. They’ve earned it.

4. Kyler’s Return

It has been no secret that the Arizona Cardinals have been one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. One of the biggest reasons for that is that the team has been without starting quarterback Kyler Murray.

On Sunday, Murray returned from his ACL injury and looked like he hadn’t lost a step. Murray led the Cardinals to a 25-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, which included the former number-one overall pick showing off his legs for a rushing touchdown.

The rest of the Cardinals 2023 campaign will be about getting Murray comfortable on the field again while preparing for a stronger outcome in 2024.

3. A Rookie MVP?

No rookie quarterback has looked the way that C.J. Stroud has to start their career. In his first nine games, Stroud has thrown for 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions.

On Sunday, the rookie QB once again showed the abilities of a veteran by leading his team down the field for a game-winning field goal over a Cincinnati Bengals team that has appeared in back-to-back AFC Championship games.

A lot of talk from this game is about the Bengals. However, it may be time to discuss where Stroud stands in the MVP race.

2. Hug A Bills Fan Today

Before 2004, the Boston Red Sox were the joke of every joke. The franchise had such a string of bad luck that the term curse really was the best description.

However, the Sox overcame the string of bad luck and became champions. So, who now takes the mantle of the franchise with the worst luck in sports? If Monday night was any indication, it’s the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills and their fans have seen painful losses for decades. However, losing because you had too many men on the field during a missed kick is the epitome of brutal.

Will the Bills ever be able to erase their history of painful defeat?

1. A Throne That Needs A King

Before the start of Week 10, it was the impression of many that the Baltimore Ravens were playing the best football in the league. But the Cleveland Browns didn’t care about any of that.

The Browns walked into Baltimore and won a classic NFC North matchup that now has but the division crown up for grabs for any challenger. The victory puts the Browns just a half-game back from the top spot in the North.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson looked like his old self in the second half, giving fans a glimpse of what the franchise was hoping to see when they made the massive deal to bring him to Cleveland.

The fight for the North looks like it will go all the way to the final week of the season.
