The 2023 World Series is set! After a pair of do-or-die Game 7’s in the ALCS and NLCS, we have our two teams that will be competing for The Commissioner’s Trophy.
All of the action will begin with Game 1 on Friday, October 27.
Representing the ALCS in the World Series is the Texas Rangers, who defeated the defending World Series champion Houston Astros in a wild seven-game series.
The Rangers clinched the AL pennant thanks to two blowout dominant wins on the Asros home turf in Game 6 and Game 7.
In the NLCS, the Arizona Diamondbacks were also able to win Game 6 and Game 7 on the road, stunning the Philadelphia Phillies to earn their second pennant in franchise history. It is Arizona’s first NL pennant since 2001.
The Fall Classic will run through at least October 31. If there is not a four-game sweep, the action will spill into November with a potential Game 7 set for Saturday, November 4.
