The MLB Postseason continues on Thursday, October 19 as we get one step closer to the 2022 World Series. On Thursday night, there will be two games taking place with Game 4 of the ALCS in primetime wrapping up the day’s action.
In the opening game of the night, the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers go head-to-head in a crucial Game 5 at Globe Life Field in Arlington with the series currently tied at 2-2.
Houston will call on Justin Verlander, while the Rangers will be depending on the left arm of Jordan Montgomery on the mound.
The first pitch is scheduled for 5:07 p.m. ET.
Entering Friday night’s game, the Rangers are a slight -115 favorite over the visiting Astros. The over/under for the game is set for 8.5 total runs.
