Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Or, as the kids say these days, “f*ck around and find out.” That’s exactly what one Philadelphia Phillies fan did following the team’s Game 2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLCS.
A Phillies fan, named Bryan Harris, decided to rush the field to celebrate the Phillies taking a 2-0 series lead.
Unfortunately for Harris, he didn’t really think things through and his head was not on a swivel. After making his way into the outfield, Harris was obliterated by a security guard who looked like he had been preparing his entire life to lay the lumber.

BOOM.
After going viral, the crew over at Crossing Broad spoke to the security guard who delivered the hit and the fan who was on the receiving end.
According to Harris, the hit was so brutal that he cut his lip, lost multiple molars, and cracked another tooth in half.
No one said going viral was painless.
Along with taking the hit, Harris spent 14 hours in jail until he could post bail and was slapped with trespassing charges. Oh, and he was previously banned from Citizens Bank Park for getting into a fight last season, so he wasn’t even supposed to be there to begin with.
What a guy.
The Phillies return to action on Thursday evening for Game 3 of the NLCS at Chase Field in Phoenix. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:07 p.m. ET on TBS.
