Thursday Night Football once again delivered another dud matchup as the Kansas City Chiefs handled the Denver Broncos 19-8. Of course, the appearance of Taylor Swift is taking all the headlines, which is more entertaining than the product on the field.
However, fans got a good look at what Broncos head coach Sean Payton calls on the sidelines. Seriously, a pristine glimpse of the coach’s playbook was seen by all watching the game on Amazon Prime.
The screenshot of the play sheet shows great details of how Payton relays his message to quarterback Russell Wilson.

He'll need to change all the tags there for next game.

A sport that has had to deal with teams stealing other teams’ sideline signals probably should re-think showing a coach calling his plays in a zoomed-in camera angle.
Every advantage is necessary to be on top in the NFL. Even if that means snapping a pic of a coach’s play sheet. However, the Broncos offense hasn’t been much of a threat this season.
On Thursday night, Wilson finished with just 95 yards passing but did find receiver Courtland Sutton for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. An offensive performance like that is bound to lead to bad news when playing a team like the Chiefs.

Given the Broncos abysmal start to the season, fans didn’t hold back on social media with hilarious and scathing reactions to the photo. Payton came into his first season in Denver with high expectations. With a former Super Bowl-winning quarterback in Wilson leading the offense, many believed Payton could right the ship for the organization.
However, the Wilson Denver has gotten in the last year and change isn’t the same guy who was under center in Seattle. The Payton era is in desperate need of a reboot before it even finishes one season.
The loss on Thursday has put the Broncos at 1-5 overall on the season. A start that will be hard to overcome if this team still has aspirations of being a playoff team in January. But for now, Payton may want to look at making some edits to his play sheet.
Even if the rest of the league didn’t need a glimpse of it to take down the Broncos.
