A Florida man was arrested this week in North Miami after torching a car that belonged to his cousin. In an interesting twist, his cousin is also his girlfriend.
Melvin Alain Cintron, 37, was captured on camera lighting his cousin’s Jaguar XE sedan on fire in front of a home a few months ago, according to a report from Local 10.
Cintron was charged with second-degree arson and third-degree grand theft.

The report states that Cintron’s cousin/girlfriend initially said that her car caught on fire but did not tell the full truth out of fear of Cintron. She said that he carries a fully automatic gun with a double-drum, high-capacity magazine.
Cintron is also accused of stealing the woman’s purse which contained $1,200 in cash after an argument because he believed she was flirting with a bartender.
Cintron was arrested at gunpoint this week and booked in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $12,500 bond.
