Dozens of University of Wisconsin students went tumbling into a lake over Labor Day weekend after a pier they were celebrating the holiday on collapsed.
The students were celebrating at Lake Mendota when the wooden dock crumbled into the lake.
Luckily, there were no major injuries.
Multiple people suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene while one person was transported to the hospital for their injuries.

An investigation into what led to the collapse is being conducted.
I’m no expert, but I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that the weight of 30+ people on the fragile, old structure may have had something to do with it.
