The Jacksonville Jaguars will need a temporary home while TIAA Bank Field undergoes renovations beginning in 2025, and an interesting option has popped up.
Reports surfaced on Monday that Daytona International Speedway has reached out to the team and invited them to consider using the venue.
“Daytona International Speedway is a world-renowned sports and entertainment venue and hosts a full schedule of events each year,” Kelleher said, via The Daytona Beach News-Journal. “As good neighbors in the Florida sports community, DIS will be speaking with the Jacksonville Jaguars to see if we can assist them with their potential upcoming facility needs around our scheduled events.”
Watching an NFL game at the race track would certainly be a unique experience.
The Jaguars previously announced other options including the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Orlando’s Camping World Stadium, and the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium.
There is no word on when an official decision will be made.
