David Canter, an NFL agent for GSE Worldwide, is under investigation by the NFL Players Association for allegedly trying to bribe NFL team executives to draft his players.

The bribery allegations claim Canter offered team executives “offering the use of vacation properties belonging to him and his wife,” according to ESPN.com. The potential violations occurred at the 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City earlier this month.

Canter’s attorney, Adam Kenner, denied any of the allegations against his client.

“We are aware that the NFLPA is looking into communications between my client and various management personnel of certain NFL teams,” Kenner said in the statement. “Mr. Canter did not engage in any wrongdoing and he is fully cooperating with the NFLPA.”

According to ESPN, “trying to incentivize a team to draft a player is not explicitly prohibited by the NFLPA.”

Eight of Canter’s clients were selected in the 2023 NFL Draft, with No. 50 overall pick Jayden Reed of Michigan State being the highest. In total, GSE Worldwide represented 21 players in this year’s class.

GSE Worldwide represents a number of clients in various sports, with Miami Dolphins stars Xavien Howard and Jaylen Waddle, and Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence among his top clients.
