Tom Brady, NFL owner?
A month after the future Hall of Fame quarterback purchased a stake in the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces — which are owned by Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis — reports have surfaced that Brady is in “deep discussions” with Davis to buy a minority ownership stake in his NFL team.
There is hope that Brady’s deal to purchase the minority stake of the Raiders could be finalized at the NFL Owners Meeting in May in Minnesota, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Even if the deal goes through, Brady is not expected to be involved in the team’s business or football affairs.
The potential deal would also not conflict with his FOX broadcasting contract which is set to begin at the start of the 2024 NFL season.
Along with his ownership stake in the Las Vegas Aces and potential stake in the Raiders, the seven-time Super Bowl champion is the owner of a Major League Pickleball team along with former tennis star Kim Clijsters.
Things are going pretty well for Brady since retiring from the NFL.
