Happy Monday, everyone! For those who are lucky enough, it’s a long weekend with President’s Day giving us another federal holiday in February. I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure what President’s Day is and it means my Amazon packages will be delayed by a day, but if that’s my biggest complaint to start the week I am doing alright. This past weekend, we got to enjoy the All-Star Game which saw Team Giannis beat Team LeBron for the first time, Jon Rahm held on to his lead in the Genesis Invitational, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. took home the Daytona 500 win. This week, we have to wait until Thursday for the NBA to return, so college hoops, NHL, and a sprinkle of Champions League will have to hold us over. In the meantime, let’s jump right into it and check out some headlines from around the web.
- Meet Daria from Los Angeles.
- Here are the full results from the Daytona 500.
- Charles Barkley absolutely hates Salt Lake City, roasting the All-Star Game location and “boring ass city” during Sunday’s broadcast.
- A handful of Chiefs fans sent in angry letters complaining about players’ booze consumption during the Super Bowl parade.
- An XFL announcer roasted Tony Romo and the Cowboys after a field goal.
- Michigan basketball had a touching tribute to the Michigan State shooting victims ahead of their rivalry game with the Spartans this weekend.
- Here’s everything coming to Netflix this week.
- NBA All-Star Game celebrity sightings.
