Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett seems to still be celebrating his back-to-back national championships.

According to a report from WFAA-ABC 8, Bennett was arrested in the early hours of the morning on Sunday for public intoxication. A man was allegedly banging on doors in Dallas when police were called to the scene.

Officers found Bennett who “was intoxicated,” but they did not say he was the man who was allegedly banging on doors.

The 25-year-old Bennett led Georgia to a dominating 65-7 win over the TCU Horned Frogs in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game earlier this month.

In 2022, Bennett set a program record for most passing yards in a single season with 4,127.

This is just the latest off-field incident for the Georgia program since winning the national championship.

Last week, highly-touted Mississippi State transfer RaRa Thomas was arrested for domestic violence. On January 15, offensive lineman Devin Willock and football staffer Chandler LeCroy were killed in a car accident hours after the team’s championship parade. Georgia football player Warren McClendon, and another staffer, Tori Bowles, were also injured in the incident.
