San Francisco 49ers are ramping up their troll game ahead of Sunday’s NFC Championship showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.
In anticipation of the big game that will determine who represents the NFC in Super Bowl 57 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, 49ers fans are hitting Eagles fans deep by messing around with an iconic landmark.
Photos surfaced on social media that showed off the iconic Rocky statue, but there was a little addition.
The statue was draped in a San Francisco 49ers shirt.

If that wasn’t good enough, the 49ers are reportedly calling their underdog story “Brocky,” with a makeshift movie poster and all.
The tagline on the poster is “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.”

It may have been a bad move for the San Francisco fans, however, because the Rocky karma is real.
In past years, New York Giants fans and Minnesota Vikings fans decided it would be a good idea to drape the Rocky statue with their team’s gear. Both times the Eagles came away with a 38-7 victory.

We’ll have to see how this one plays out.
The 49ers and Eagles are set to kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field at 3:00 p.m. ET. The game will air live on FOX, with streaming availability and coverage on the FOX Sports Go app.
