The Jim Harbaugh era in Ann Arbor could be coming to an end.
According to reports following the Wolverines’ loss to TCU in the College Football Playoff national semifinal, Harbaugh leaving the University of Michigan if he is offered a job in the NFL is a “done deal.”
Bruce Feldman, Austin Meek, and Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic were first to report the news.

Harbaugh and the Wolverines have reached the College Football Playoff in back-to-back years thanks to big wins over rival Ohio State. Last year, there were rumors swirling that Harbaugh was in talks with the Minnesota Vikings for their head coaching job but an official offer never materialized.
During his previous stint in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, Harbaugh went 44-19-1, reaching the NFC Championship on three occasions and earning a Super Bowl berth.
Now, after his recent success with the Wolverines, it appears that Harbaugh is poised for another run in the NFL.
