The Buffalo Bills will be playing at Ford Field in Detroit for two consecutive weeks.

On Thursday evening, it was officially confirmed that the Bills’ upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns has been relocated to Ford Field due to concerns about the weather. The game was scheduled for Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, but was moved as the area prepares for an incoming snowstorm.

“Due to public safety concerns and out of an abundance of caution in light of the ongoing weather emergency in western New York, Sunday’s Cleveland Browns-Buffalo Bills game will be moved to Ford Field in Detroit at 1 p.m. ET, the NFL announced today,” the Bills confirmed in a statement.

“The decision to move the game from Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY was done in consultation with the Buffalo Bills and local and state authorities as the region prepares for the storm.”

The Bills will then face the Detroit Lions on a short week on Thanksgiving Day.

Kickoff between the Bills and Browns at Ford Field is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
