The Western Kentucky football program is allowing its fanbase the opportunity to be a part of the team’s game-day look. The Hilltoppers will be having a Black Out this Friday when they take on UAB in a C-USA primetime event. Fans will have four options to choose from as the Western Kentucky football Twitter page released a video of the possibilities. For me, there’s only one option. Check out all four variations below:
Alright WKU fans…
Which helmet should we wear to complete the blackout look? Speak now, or forever hold your peace.#GoTops https://t.co/lgPyPUC0eH pic.twitter.com/6CaluXDfhq

The option is simple, Big Red for the win. Everyone in America wants to see the cooler version of Grimace on these black matte helmets. I can only imagine that Hilltoppers fans feel exactly the same. The man is rocking all whites and slingin’ that rock further than Uncle Rico could only dream of. The game between UAB and WKU is more than a helmet. The two programs are vying for positioning in a top-heavy C-USA. The winner of this game will take the sole position of third place, behind two undefeated in-conference squads in UTSA and North Texas.
The only option is Big Red. Not only for this game, but it should be the official helmet for the WKU program. This isn’t hard Hilltoppers nation. Big Red, or we riot!
