ESPN College GameDay is heading to Knoxville on Saturday, October 15, to highlight an SEC clash between two undefeated rivals currently ranked inside of the top 10.

The College GameDay crew will be on site for Saturday’s meeting between the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide and No. 8 Tennessee Volunteers. The SEC Network’s pregame show, SEC Nation, will also be on the scene.

And now, we know who will be joining the College GameDay desk as the special celebrity guest picker to cap off the show.

ESPN announced the news on Thursday night that the guest picker will be none other than Vols legend and Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, who had his No. 16 retired by the program.

Manning finished his final season at Tennessee with 3,819 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, while picking up a number of prestigious awards like the Maxwell Award and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award before going on to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft.

ESPN previously made the trip to Knoxville on September 24 when the Vols defeated the Florida Gators, 38-33.

Tennessee sits at 5-0 on the season, while the Crimson Tide are 6-0.

Kickoff between the Crimson Tide and Vols at Neyland Stadium is set for 3:30 PM ET on CBS.
