Tom Brady is making some moves off of the field.

On Thursday, it was announced that the future Hall of Fame quarterback has signed Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the son of Deion Sanders, to a name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal with his BRADY apparel brand.

It is the first deal that the company has ever made with an individual athlete.

According to Randall Williams of Boardroom, “Sanders will have input on product development, wear testing and will be outfitted in Brady Brand clothing in upcoming games.”

“Shedeur Sanders is the perfect ambassador for BRADY,” Tom Brady said in a press release. “He embodies everything we look for in a BRADY athlete, and his character and values align perfectly with our brand.

“Not only is he an exceptional football player and quarterback but he is one of the most influential players of his generation, and we’re thrilled that he’s officially joining the BRADY family.”

Sanders has one of the top NIL values in college football, according to On3, with an estimated worth of $1.2 million on the NIL market.

“I’m so excited to work with the BRADY team. Tom has been a longtime mentor to me both on and off the field, and I’ve been a fan of his apparel brand since its inception, so this partnership feels like a natural next step. I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to join the list of world-class athletes that represent the brand,” Sanders added.

This season, the 20-year-old Sanders has thrown for 1,713 yards, 17 touchdowns and 2 interceptions with a completion percentage of 73.2 percent. On the ground, he has added 64 yards and an additional two scores.

Jackson State currently sits at a perfect 5-0 on the season and returns to action on Saturday against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats.
