The 2022 college football season is now in full swing and it’s time to see some updated rankings. On Sunday, October 9, the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll released its Week 7 top 25 to give us a look at how the competition looks around the college football world.
Following a busy weekend of action, the top five teams in the country remain unchanged.
Sitting atop the poll is the Alabama Crimson Tide with 35 first-place votes, followed by SEC rival Georgia with 18 first-place votes. Ohio State checks in at No. 3 with the remaining ten first-place votes, while Michigan and Clemson round out the top five.
