A mom had a random run-in with a group of Pittsburgh Steelers stars over the weekend and their interaction has gone viral.
According to a post on Twitter, the woman ran into reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year TJ Watt, star defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, and linebacker Alex Highsmith on the pickleball court — and had no idea who they were.
After their meeting, the woman joined the Steelers teammates for a friendly game of pick-up pickleball.
The mother texted her family group chat with a photo of the four on the court and explained that she and Minkah Fitzpatrick — aka “the guy in the green shirt,” as she describes — “whooped” Watt and Highsmith.

As the post began to go viral, Watt had a hilarious response and gave kudos to the woman, who he refers to as “Meg.”
Meg was serving the HEAT. We had trouble all day. https://t.co/iemtZDRbuW

It just goes to show that there can be ringers in every sport, and being some of the best athletes in the NFL means nothing on the pickleball court.
