NFL Week 1 Opening Lines & Betting Odds: Way-Too-Early Look

The NFL schedule for the 2022-23 regular season was released on Thursday, May 12, and the oddsmakers wasted no time looking ahead out how the season could play out.

For those of us who like to throw down some wagers each and every week, it’s never too early to start preparing and we won’t have to wait because the way-too-early lines for the opening week of the season have been released.

The fine folks at BetOnline.ag released the opening point spreads and over/under totals for every Week 1 game so we can start seeing what will catch our eyes.

A majority of the opening point spreads are 4-points or less, while the Indianapolis Colts (-8) open as the biggest Week 1 favorite over the Houston Texans. The season-opener between the Bills and Rams has the highest over/under at 52 points.
