While most of us were enjoying our Christmas with great food, football, and basketball on our televisions, residents in Buckley, Wales spent the day terrified of a dangerous presence in their neighborhood: a “psycho” squirrel.
According to the New York Post, a squirrel went on a 48-hour rampage over Christmas that resulted in 18 people getting injured from bites during attacks.
The critter was even brave enough to attack multiple Bengal cats in the neighborhood.
“Warning, vicious squirrel that attacks,” a post from Nicola Crowther in the Buckley Residents Facebook Group read. “Has bitten me, attacked my friend . . . and multiple other people.”
Another commenter wrote: “I’ve got teeth marks on the top and bottom of my finger. It proper latched on and I had to shake it off. He’s taken the top layer off my knuckle. His teeth are like pins.”
People were sharing photos of their injuries in the discussion, while others revealed they received tetanus shots after being treated at the hospital.
