Baker Mayfield will be missing out on the Cleveland Browns‘ Week 15 clash against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday afternoon. The game was rescheduled due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the Browns that leaves the team without a number of starters — including Mayfield himself.

Mayfield was officially ruled out for the game on Monday morning, along with backup quarterback Case Keenum, Kareem Hunt, Jarvis Landry, and Austin Hooper.

Following the news, his wife Emily took to social media to deliver a message for Browns fans.

“Super frustrating since [Baker] feels 110 [percent],” she wrote on social media. “He did EVERYTHING he could to get that negative test… but we can only control what’s in our control. And this isn’t one of those things.”

“You better believe we’ll be cheering LOUD from our couch. Our guys can get it done!!”

It will be interesting to see how the Browns faithful show up and how rowdy the crowd gets when the backups are on the field. One thing is for certain, though, everyone will be tuning in to watch how it all plays out.

And honestly, what else are you going to do on a Monday evening while you’re waiting for Monday Night Football?
