ESPN College GameDay made the trip to Atlanta, Georgia for Championship Weekend to highlight the crucial SEC title game between the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide which will have a major part in deciding which four teams play for the College Football Playoff National Championship.
The College GameDay crew was on the scene, with Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and David Pollack giving fans an up-close look at the matchups across the nation before kickoff.
Kickoff between the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta is set for 4:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
This week’s guest picker will be The Zac Brown Band, who is also set to perform during the show. Other guests will include former Florida coach Dan Mullen, former Georgia running back Todd Gurley, and special visits from the head coaches in the game, Nick Saban and Kirby Smart.
Of course, the greatest part of College GameDay comes from the fans, who show up bright and early with their GameDay signs in hand.
