College football has had some huge moves taking place in the coaching carousel this week. Former Notre Dame head coach is on to a new challenge in Baton Rouge, as video has surfaced from his final goodbye with the team. The video is two parts, with Kelly telling the team how thankful he is for his time with the Irish.

Kelly’s goodbye speech was four minutes long and basically everything you would expect a coach to say before departing for Scrooge McDuck money at another program. Kelly didn’t hide from the tough questions that he is going to be asked for too long, as the new LSU coach appeared on The Dan Patrick Show this morning to discuss why he left Notre Dame
"I was at that time in my career where I was looking for that new challenge."

Kelly explained to Patrick that he was ready for the new challenge that comes with playing in the SEC. Kelly, who is now the winningest coach in Notre Dame football history, is looking for the only thing he has left to do in his hall of fame career, and that would be winning a national championship.

Kelly’s excitement for his next challenge couldn’t be contained. Before the news was even official, Kelly had changed his Twitter account to everything LSU.
With two top programs like Notre Dame and Oklahoma seeing their coaches leave, is any job safe in college football now?
