The latest College Football Playoff rankings of the 2021 season were released on Tuesday, November 30, so we are getting the penultimate look at the rankings ahead of championship weekend.

Following a loss to No. 2 Ohio State last weekend and a big win by Oklahoma State, there is plenty of intrigue at the top of the rankings.

Georgia retained its place at No. 1 in the country with one game to go, while the Michigan Wolverines jumped into the No. 2 spot. The Alabama Crimson Tide and undefeated Cincinnati Bearcats round out the top four, while the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Notre Dame Fighting Irish are on the outside looking in.

There will be a number of high-stakes conference championships this weekend including Oklahoma State vs. the Baylor Bears in the Big 12 and the SEC title game between Georgia and Alabama.

This season’s Playoff Semifinals will take place Friday, December 31, 2021, at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic and the Capital One Orange Bowl, while the College Football Playoff National Championship will be Monday, January 10, 2022, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
