College football’s championship weekend is finally upon us.
It is a week that will tell us who is finally in the College Football Playoff and matchups that have bragging rights with the conference championships on the line.

A few crucial matchups with playoff implications will occur this weekend as teams look to become the top of their conference. The SEC Championship could be a playoff eliminator when Georgia and Alabama clash on Saturday.
At the same time, Cincinnati and Michigan will need to take care of business in their respective conference championships to play for the big one.

Aside from the playoff implications on some of the conference championship matchups, others will be playing for the pride of the conference and the chance to play in a better bowl game. The PAC-12 and Big-12 have slim chances at a playoff bid; winning the conference championship could go a long way in playing in a more important post-season game.
