Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy had a hilarious fanboy moment during a press conference on Friday thanks to NFL legend Roger Staubach.
McCarthy was addressing the media when he lost his train of thought because the legendary quarterback walked through the press conference room. McCarthy was in awe of the Hall of Famer and had to address his presence.
“That’s Roger Staubach,” McCarthy said. “Man, I’m shook. Just thinking about the old Super Bowls, Steelers and the Cowboys. But, no, what the hell were we talking about?”
David Helman of DallasCowboys.com shared the moment on social media.

It looks like we can all get a little star-struck.
Let’s hope that Staubach avoids roaming the Cowboys sideline and distracting McCarthy during Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.
Kickoff between the Cowboys and Broncos is set for 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
